Virtually every movie poster we stock is an ORIGINAL movie poster printed for use in movie theaters back when the film was originally released. These are not. In rare cases like this we make an exception. These are extremely high quality fine art Limited Edition lithograph posters. Printed on very thick durable archival-grade paper using the finest quality fade resistant inks.
S2 Editions recreated several classic posters between 1997 and 2003. They bought 100 year-old lithograph presses, completely refurbished them, and had expert artisans recreate the stone litho printing plates. They were printed in exactly the same way the posters were originally printed almost 100 years ago.
Most are hand numbered on the bottom in pencil.

It can be framed as is by a talented framer without Linen Backing. If however you do want it Linen Backed it can be done at an additional cost. If you choose Linen Backing please be aware that due to the extreme thickness of the poster it may slightly separate from the rice paper/linen. This is normal for these types of posters and will not be seen when framed and displayed.
